FOUNDER'S PASSING
On July 19th, 2007 John M. Dougherty joined his brothers and co-founder's of Thrifty Dry Cleaners in Heavan. John was 79 years old. John was an asset to Thrifty Cleaners and to the Erie Community until the day he passed. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his compassion, his dedication to his family, but most of all for his strong belief in his religious faith. John will be truly missed and never forgotten.

Thank you Erie for voting us Erie's Choice in Dry Cleanng for the 6th year in a row in the Times Publishing Company's poll. Every year the Times has conducted the poll Thrifty has come out on top.
